she is wearing a red dress which goes with the name of the brand which is HEAT because the colour might reparent some that is hot. The central image features Beyonce in a provocative pose wearing a low-cut, revealing dress. This combines with the colour connotations to create a seductive effect. ‘Catch the fever’ as a slogan is snappy and links to idea of magic or irresistible attraction created by the fragrance.

Black Widow

a large corporation owns many smaller companies in diverse media sectors (TV, film, games, etc.), and it links to Black Widow because Disney, a massive media conglomerate, owns Marvel Studios, allowing them to integrate Black Widow across films, TV, streaming (Disney+), merchandise, and theme parks, creating huge cross-promotional synergy
3) Analyse the film trailer for Black Widow. What aspects of the trailer tell you this is a big-budget blockbuster movie?
The Black Widow trailer screams "big-budget blockbuster" through its rapid-fire action sequences (motorcycle chases, prison riots, aerial stunts), extensive globe-trotrotting (Budapest, Russia), detailed period/sci-fi set designs (opulent secret facilities), high-calibre star power (Scarlett Johansson, Florence Pugh, David Harbour, Rachel Weisz)

it was put on billboards and postered a trailer on YouTube and was tweeted on many platforms

i think not because movies that marvel  make mostly over $1billion

Black Widow just debuted, starring Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow and Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova in both the theater and Disney+ with Premiere Access for $29.99. The film has done quite well, receiving an 80% on Rotten Tomatoes with a 92% viewer rating. With the debut of this film, we have started to see Disney use social media a lot more to market their films.

The Netflix Marvel TV shows - Marvel's deal with Netflix has now come to an end but you can still enjoy the edgy adventures of Daredevil, Iron Fist, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones and The Punisher on the streaming service. Ensemble show The Defenders is a real highlight. Though ostensibly set in the MCU, these shows have a darker tone and don't directly connect with any of the films.

1) What is a conglomerate in the media industries? 

conglomerate is a media company that owns lots of smaller media companies. These smaller companies are called subsidiaries. Most of the global media industry is now dominated by a small number of massive conglomerates.

2) What is a subsidiary?
 Synergy is when a company creates a brand that can be used across different media products and platforms. For example, Disney makes movies but then also has related stage shows, theme parks, merchandise, soundtracks and events all linked to the same brand or characters.

3) What are the benefits for media companies of vertical integration?
Complete ownership = more profit and control.

4) What are the benefits for media companies of horizontal integration?
Horizontal integration allows companies to widen their audience and find other ways to make money.
